She has been getting on with  patchwork since 2009. She studied the material herself, according to Internet lessons of American masters.
Therefore, as Irina says: "Life is measured in centimeters, but I sew in inches."
The very first quilt blanket, completely sewn and quilted on a small sewing machine, by inexperience, had a size of 2m 80 cm x 3m 20 cm!
"Now I would not have decided to do this for anything!!!", - Irina admits.

She began attending master classes as a recognized master, for self-improvement and for real communication with other masters. She graduated from the School of Stitching by Lyubov Lezhanina (Perm) (СХМС, art stitch, FMQ), stitches courses of Julia Dotsenko (Nizhny Novgorod), Elvira Pustovalova's design courses (Moscow), ElectricQuilt (computer program) by Gulnara Polyanskaya.
Took part in the QuiltFests ("Tradition", "Out of Time" - St. Petersburg). Successfully holds monthly online webinars on patchwork technology and master classes.

It is difficult to single out the main direction in the works of Irina. This is a patchwork, and a quilting, and an applique ...
One of Irina's global achievements is the quilt, made on the basis of  the famous American quilt Dear Jane, quilted by hand. Irina sews blankets "for life", in which you can wrap yourself up and store the warmth and care of her hands.
